Mission
Stedman Elementary
School is an historic neighborhood school with deep roots in the Park
Hill community. Our school has served generations of neighborhood families with
a history of strong parent involvement.
Stedman serves Early Childhood (four-year-old) through 5th
grade students and features individualized instruction based on student
need. We maintain high expectations for
all students and we’ve achieved Significant Improvement for academic growth on
the SAR. Current CSAP results indicate
that continuously enrolled students shows significant growth on CSAP Stedman
Elementary School has a
unique environment that honors and empowers everyone in the professional
learning community. Students receive
high quality, standards-based instruction that is differentiated to meet their
individual needs. Parents are welcomed
and encouraged to participate in all school activities with the assistance of
the family liaison. Staff members
participate in ongoing professional development and maintain high expectations
for all students. Stedman Elementary
provides a climate of respect where good character is modeled and practiced,
diversity is celebrated, and students feel safe.
